The Hull Shop is the most important facility in the Cochin shipyard for ship building. This Shop is designed work very effective work flow with in the shop from raw material preparation to the block fabrication works and further movement of the completed ship blocks/units to marine coating shop and Building dock. The Hull shop is equipped with different facilities for raw material preparation, pre fabrication, Block fabrication and the material handling. Present production capacity of the hull shop is at 2000T per month.
